You might find this surprising depending on how young you are, but Back in My Day, simply looking up images on Google was a perfectly fun and exciting activity, one that I used to do all the time. I'd change up what I'd type in the search bar, looking for the most beautiful images I could find. Then, I'd save my favorites so I could... keep staring them, but at a later time. Oh how times have changed.
I found most of these images between the ages of 11 and 13 (from what I can remember). I used to get so immersed in them, and honestly, I still kinda get why. When looking them up, I expected I would find a lot of flaws that I didn't notice as a kid. But... no, I still think they all look so beautiful and dreamy! I totally get why young me loved them so much. This style of... ethereal, bright, soft colors isn't really something I see much anymore. Everything looked like it came from a dream, or a memory.
I tried to find the images that I loved the most back then, and although I'm sure I'm missing a lot, I'm so happy I could find all of these! I remember some of them so well. Some I copied either on paper or MS Paint (I wish I still had any of those drawings!!), some I simply admired and stared at all the time.
